Once Upon a Time

I’m roughly 6,300 words in to my NaNoWriMo challenge, I should be 12,500 words in, but I’m pleased with the progress and the way the writing is flowing (though I won’t be when I re-read it I imagine).

It’s in a Tom Clancy/Patrick Robinson style and so far I’ve managed to:

• Shoot down a U2 spy plane off the coast of China
• Cause a large explosion at a state park outside of Seattle, killing numerous people in what looks like a terrorist attack
• Sink a 320,000 ton crude-carrying supertanker in the Pacific

Not bad for a weekend’s work.
