The Final Countdown
(Feel free to hum along if you know the 80s classic of the same title)
I’m firmly into my final week in Holland, I’m on the plane at the end of the week, headed back to the UK and two weeks off. Am I looking foward to it? Oh, yes.
Don’t get me wrong, I will miss the Netherlands, the people have been great, a generally nice bunch. The place is okay and, to be honest, I’ve not got much to complain about, but it’ll be nice not to have to watch the time on Sunday afternoons knowing I’ve got a plane to catch, it’ll be nice to spend more than a couple of days at home, sort through my stuff, have access to all my things whenever I want. All little things, but they’ve been adding up.
Anyway, by coincidence, I’ve also launched a new site design today. I started work on the weekend before last, when I should have been doing something else. I was getting a bit sick of looking at the last one and it felt like it needed an update. This one should make it easier to see what’s what on the site.
Let me know what you think.

A very interesting redesign - a complete change! Possibly too many navigation options on the left though? (archive categories, related articles, recent articles, search, main menu). They’re a bit overwhelming. They look nice though :)
