Man’s ‘pants’ password is changed

Obviously funny when you look at this password saga but the worrying thing was that someone could read his password, shouldn’t they be one-way encrypted so they’re useless of anyone in case someone breaks their security? What happens if someone with access decides to make a note of your password to steal your cash, making it indecipherable keeps people honest too.
